Transaction Entry Screen

Color coding has been added to the transaction entry screen and the ledger.  You have one color for a charge that is unpaid, another color for a partially paid charge, and another for one completely paid. The same is true for payments, even highlighting unapplied or over applied payments.

HCFA Help

Data entry is very intuitive and the help files are excellent. You can bring up a graphic of the HCFA form, click on the box you are having problems with, and the program will tell you where you should enter the data so it appears in that box.

Ledger

Besides color coding, the ledger is helpful in another way. If you click on a charge, you can see just what payments were applied. If you click on a payment, you can see easily what charges that payment was posted against.

The ledger can also be printed, if you want your patient to have detailed information of their account.

Office Hours (Scheduler)

The Office Hours program is included with the Medisoft program and is a powerful scheduler. Office Hours is also color coded, allowing you to set specific colors for different types of appointments. You can also set up multiple appointments for a time slot. Changes are made easily as is finding an appointment.
